Light on the Water

When you go to sea hoping to spend time with dolphins and they have other plans, it can be disappointing. Shake that off, open up to where you are—light on the water, clouds in the sky, Nature’s moods and might—and, when Nature isn’t scaring you silly, you feel lucky to be there and grateful to the dolphins for luring you out there, even if they gave you the brush. Photos capture some of it, videos a bit more. Please enjoy.

    Those incredible photos make me think of how different life must have been when all people were faced with the beauty and power and mystery of nature every day and how it fuels a kind of arogance to be cut off from those kind of scenes  in cities …it reinforces the dangerously false  assumption that most of us unconsciously make that we..individually and as a species… are the center of the universe…
